The authorities of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), have reiterated the council administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the girl child to develop.
Executive Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba made the declaration today, in commemoration of the International Day of Girl Child, which is being observed globally today.
”On this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, I join the world in celebrating the strength and limitless potential of our young girls, especially those in Ijede LCDA.

”Our girls are tomorrow’s leaders and change-makers. It is our collective responsibility as a society, including parents and teachers, to ensure that every girl has access to quality education, a safe environment, and equal opportunities to succeed.”
Reitetating her administration’s commitment, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba emphasises: “As a government, we remain committed to creating an enabling environment where our girls can grow into empowered, confident, and accomplished individuals.”
”Together, we can build a future where no girl’s dream is too big to be un- reachable or unachievable.”
